Siera Marketing Services has grown organically over the last 14 years, directed and stimulated by market need.

The company’s British-born founder and president, Andrew Bill, began his career as a travel journalist, covering the world for leading publications on both sides of the Atlantic. Moving to New York in 1986, he eased gradually over to the marketing side, first providing content for brochures, newsletters, destination guides, etc. then adding complementary services like magazine inserts, graphic design, printing, distribution, direct mail, etc.

 

Thunder Publications was incorporated in 1990, to provide a full range of custom-publishing services to the travel industry. Over 14 successful years of operation, the company continued to evolve, expanding its services in response to the rapidly changing marketplace, the wave of new technologies and the evolving marketing options.

 

In early 2004, the company officially changed its name to Siera Marketing Services to reflect its broadened focus.

 

Today, a nationwide team of service specialists works under the Siera umbrella, providing the company’s American and international clients with tailored expertise in everything from watercolor-map making to on-site reservation modules.
